Applied Marketing Science, Inc. (AMS), a leading-edge market research and consulting firm, is pleased to announce that Principal Jason Och has been named Practice Lead of the firm’s Litigation Support business.
As Practice Lead, Jason will oversee the Litigation Support practice’s continued growth, providing survey evidence in complex civil litigation matters, including trademark and trade dress infringement, class action matters, false and deceptive advertising, antitrust issues, and patent damages.
“Our Litigation Support practice has been an engine of growth for AMS,” said AMS President and Managing Principal, John Mitchell. “Jason’s elevation to Practice Leader recognizes our expanding capabilities in this field. We now offer clients access to a deep bench of internal survey experts—Bob Klein, Brian Sowers, and Jacqueline Chorn—complemented by a broad network of affiliated experts at leading universities, all supported by a crack team of case team managers, analysts, and specialists. My fellow Principals of AMS are all excited by Jason’s new role and what it means for our continued success, and most importantly, for our clients.”
In his role as Practice Lead, Jason will continue to support AMS’ network of affiliated academic experts, while enabling AMS’ internal experts, such as Brian Sowers and Jacqueline Chorn, to focus on their expanding caseloads.
Jason has more than two decades of experience conducting rigorous market research, including more than a decade supporting some of the country’s leading experts in designing and executing surveys for high-stakes litigation (Apple v Samsung, FTC v DIRECTV, etc.). Before joining AMS, Jason held roles as senior project director at Opinion Research Corporation (ORC-Guideline) in Boston, and director of client projects at Resonance Insights in Salem, Massachusetts.
